Doing horse drawings is similar to drawing humans. Horse's anatomy is similar to humans having the 3 major immovable parts. The head, torso/the rib cage, and the hil/pelvic mass. So it helps if you know some human anatomy so you can analyze it to drawing horses and other animals.First I began lightly sketching in the general understructure of the horse.Horse's anatomy is similar to humans having the 3 major immovable parts. Using the side of the pencil i continued to build more form and the features, shading and defining the shapes all at the same time.

I continued the same procedure as above ,shading and adding more form and features. built the legs here.

I worked more on values, achieving darker darks and lighter lights.

Then i used the stomp tool to blend the charcoal to acheve smoth texture and render.
