Commissioning Oil and Pencil Portraits

For commissioning oil or pencil portraits, you may either choose to sit for my paintings live in person or simply just give me a photograph to work from. I have had many people just wanting the experience of sitting live for the portraits, whereas others were simply too busy or otherwise unavailable to do so. In either case, the overall qualities will generally be the same.

If you want me to work from the photos-You may either email me a good sized jpeg file of the photo you would like to have painted or meet and have me take the photo for you at my studio or a setting of your choice(travelling expenses may apply). Either way would be fine as long as the photo that you would provide me with is not too blurry and is in relatively decent quality in size and resolution. I would also need a 50% deposit before starting the portrait. Within 20 days of your deposit, I will send you a jpeg image of the finished portrait, where you can have a look and let me know if you'd like me to make any minor alterations. Once approved, you would make the rest half of the payment and I will ship the painting to you. Shipping is free. Satisfaction is guaranteed and you would be entitled to full refund if you aren't happy with the finished product. No questions asked. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

For Live Sittings-Depending on how much time you are willing to sit for the portrait, I may finish/touch up the painting using the photo references taken during our live sessions. Some people have sat for a very long time with multiple sessions to have me execute the painting entirely from life, whereas others would just sit several hours for one sitting and have me finish from the photograph. Either way is fine with me and the qualities will generally be the same. Satisfaction is guaranteed and you will receive a full refund in the event you are not completely happy with the completed oil or pencil portraits. Pricings:

-8"x10": $100 for painting, $50 for drawing

-11"x14": $150 for painting, $75 for drawing

-14"x18": $200 for painting, $100 for drawing

-18"x24": $300 for painting, $150 for drawing

-24"x30": $500 for painting,

-30"x40": $900 for painting

any sizes smaller than mentioned above, will be the same price as the prices for the smallest pieces. E.g. If you would like a painting sized 8"x10", the price will still be $250

Shipping: I provide free shipping. The Paintings will be done on unstretched, high archival quality Fredrix Canvas and shipped out rolled in a tube. If you are local to me (Las Vegas, Nevada) and can pick up from my studio, I can do the painting on a stretched canvas per request.
